So how are you inspired? There is no single way that one is inspired because we are all unique and inspired in different ways.

So, why the topic of inspiration?

I started this blog simply because my sister inspired me to do something that I’ve always wanted to do – and do it for 30 days.

The conversation started when she told me about a TED Talk video segment – Matt Cutt’s “Try Something New for 30 days”.  This video really made me think…

From the time that I can remember, I knew that I wanted to be a great gymnast; that I wanted to do good in school and graduate from one of the best Universities; that I wanted to work in the sports marketing world; that I wanted to get married, have a family and own my own home; and I’ve known my whole life that I wanted to be in the business world and so far, I’ve achieved those goals. Trust me, I have SO many more goals for my life and everyday, I continue to work to achieve those. BUT,  there are so many other things out there that I’ve always wanted to try! So, here it goes, my first 30 day challenge – writing a blog. And when someone asks me what I do, I can now say I have a blog.

If you haven’t heard of TED, TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. “It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, and Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. Along with two annual conferences — the TED Conference in Long Beach and Palm Springs each spring, and the TEDGlobal conference in Edinburgh UK each summer — TED includes the award-winning TED Talks video site, the Open Translation Project and TED Conversations, the inspiring TED Fellows and TEDx programs, and the annual TED Prize.” If you haven’t watched any TED Talks, I highly recommend it.

So, I ask you … What is your Inspiration?
